Reporting to the Service Manager, the Community Services Coordinator will oversee the daily operations of the Community Hub and provide leadership to the team. This role involves collaborating with program managers, volunteers, and participants to ensure the smooth delivery of services. The ideal candidate will have excellent organizational skills, strong communication abilities, and a passion for supporting individuals in group settings.
Responsibilities include
- mentoring, coordinating, and supervising the team, monitoring
- workload, performance, and competencies. Key areas of focus include
- building team capabilities, strengthening customer relationships, and
- driving improvement initiatives while assisting in the coordination and
- facilitation of various group programs within the organization.
Main tasks Core objectives include: Assist in the planning, coordination, and implementation of
- group programs, including scheduling, logistics, and
- participant recruitment, collaborating with program managers.
- Develop program materials, presentations, and resources for group sessions in collaboration with program managers.
- Provide administrative support, including maintaining participant records, tracking program attendance, and managing program documentation.
- Support program facilitators and volunteers in delivering group sessions by providing guidance, training, and resources.
- Communicate regularly with program participants to provide updates, gather feedback, and address concerns.
- Individual Support/Care as well as all other aspects related to Community Support and Participation.
- Evaluate program effectiveness and outcomes through data collection, analysis, and reporting.
- Coordinate with external partners, stakeholders, and community organizations to enhance program offerings and resources.
- Ensure compliance with organizational policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements related to program delivery and participant confidentiality.

PERSON SPECIFICATION
Qualifications Bachelor's degree in social work, psychology, sociology, human services, healthcare administration, or a related discipline or diploma or certificate in community services, disability support, aged care, or a related field.
Experience Minimum 2 years of disability support services experience,
ideally in a community services setting.
- Relevant experience in a similar role or industry highly preferred.
