Experienced Mill Operator | Up to $46.55/hr | Temp-to-Perm Opportunity
Location: Wacol, QLD
Pay Rate: $35.81 – $46.55 per hour
Employment Type: Temp-to-Perm (Permanent after just 6 months)

About the Role
Working within a grain and feed manufacturing facility, you will be responsible for supporting daily production activities, operating machinery, handling raw materials, and assisting with warehouse operations. The successful candidate will be safety-focused, physically fit, and comfortable working in a dusty environment. This is a hands-on role combining production operations, warehousing duties, and forklift work, making it ideal for candidates who enjoy variety and working within a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
About You & Responsibilities
- Operate production equipment including bagging lines, mixers, and associated machinery
- Support warehouse operations including stock movement and material handling
- Operate a counterbalance forklift safely and efficiently
- Perform manual handling tasks of up to 20kg on a semi-regular basis
- Follow production schedules and maintain quality standards
- Work safely within a dusty manufacturing environment, including wearing respiratory protection where required
- Maintain a strong commitment to workplace safety and housekeeping standards
- Hold a current Forklift Licence with counterbalance experience
- Previous experience in grain handling, feed milling, agriculture, or manufacturing environments highly regarded
- Confined Space and Working at Heights tickets are advantageous but not essential
- Reliable, safety-focused, and willing to learn site processes

Shifts available
Day shift: 6:00am to 2:00pm - $35.81/hr
Afternoon shift: 2:00pm to 10:00pm - $41.18/hr
Rotating Roster: 1 week day shift, 1 week afternoon shift, 1 week night shift
