Position Description
Alitsy is an industry-specific end-to-end software platform that integrates seamlessly into the ecosystem of our customers, who are accredited certificate providers under state and federal energy efficiency schemes, and their installation partners. We want to empower customers to collaborate cohesively with other partners for energy efficiency certificate creation, via site assessments, quotes, installation management, stock acquisition and management, and financing.
We are looking for a talented software engineer to join our team, designing, developing, testing and implementing technical solutions and providing front-line technical support for our clients.
Key Responsibilities
· Writing and maintaining program code using .NET/C#, MVC, MS SQL Server, JavaScript, jQuery, and Bootstrap
· Testing, debugging, diagnosing and correcting errors and issues within the software.
· First point of contact for online support requests, questions and issues raised by customers.
· Working with other developers for collaboration and application of best practice.
· Liaising with non-technical team members for clear explanation of how the system works, for presentation to clients.
· Managing and prioritising outstanding development requests.
· Be the lead developer for third party software integrations including APIs and the API with the administrator of the Victorian Energy Efficiency Target scheme (VEU).
Role Requirements
This is a full time, office-based role for a dedicated individual who wants to be an integral part of a small but diligent and dynamic team. We want to build long-term relationships with our team members, therefore we invite Australian Citizens and permanent residents who are currently in Australia, to apply for this role.
Required Skills
· Tertiary education – Bachelor of Computer Science or equivalent.
· Knowledge of implementing integrations with popular third-party software packages, such as Xero, Monday.com, Hubspot, Simpro, Service M8, Pipedrive.
· Knowledge of Web application development using .NET/C#, MVC, MS SQL Server, JavaScript, jQuery, and Bootstrap.
· Knowledge and experience of Visual Studio and Azure DevOps.
· A clean and efficient approach to the creation of code, without unnecessary database calls and high modification quantity.
· Strong front-end UI design excellence, to ensure high standards of UI for clients.
· An improvement focus, with the ability to generate ideas and solutions for enhancing application features, based on client feedback and on the latest coding techniques and recent technological developments.
· A proactive attitude in solving client issues and communicating with the Alitsy team and the client.
· Deep knowledge of the application of AI.
· High level of accuracy.
· Self-motivation: due to the small team, we are looking for someone who can operate with a high level of autonomy and low level of instruction in delivery of team goals.
· Direct experience of the Alitsy software platform – two years minimum is preferred.
· Intimate knowledge of the energy efficiency industry and state and federal government certificate schemes, and the associated underlying calculation analyses.
Pay: $70,000.00 – $80,000.00 per year
