Expression of Interest – Future NDIS Support Worker / Community Support Worker Opportunities
Anchor Health Services is seeking expressions of interest from compassionate, reliable and professional Support Workers for future casual opportunities across South Western Sydney.
We are a growing nursing and disability support provider focused on delivering safe, respectful and person-centred care to NDIS participants in their homes and in the community. This role may suit workers who are looking for flexible casual work and are confident supporting participants with daily living, personal care, community access and independence-building activities.
Please note: this is an Expression of Interest for future opportunities. Shifts will depend on participant needs, service demand, onboarding completion and suitability.
Duties may include:
Supporting participants with personal care, hygiene and daily routines
Assisting with domestic tasks, meal preparation and general household support
Supporting community access, appointments, shopping and social activities
Encouraging independence, choice and participant goals
Medication prompting where appropriate and within scope
Following care plans, risk assessments and workplace instructions
Completing accurate shift notes and reporting concerns promptly
Maintaining professional boundaries, privacy and dignity at all times
Successful applicants should have:
A caring, patient and respectful attitude
Experience in disability support, aged care, community care or similar is preferred
NDIS Worker Screening Check or willingness to obtain
Working With Children Check or willingness to obtain
Current First Aid and CPR or willingness to obtain
Valid driver’s licence and access to a reliable vehicle preferred
Good communication skills and reliability
Ability to work independently in the community
Desirable experience:
Manual handling and hoist transfers
Personal care support
Autism, psychosocial disability or complex behaviour support
Bowel care, catheter care, PEG feeding or other high-intensity support experience
Progress note writing and incident reporting
