Disability Support Worker (NDIS) – Sunshine West, VIC
Grace Quality Care Pty Ltd is seeking a compassionate and reliable Disability Support Worker to support an NDIS participant living in Sunshine West, VIC.
Participant Overview
- Adult participant
- Primary diagnosis: Traumatic Brain Injury (TBI)
- Location: Sunshine West, VIC
Permanent Weekly Shifts
- Monday: 10:30 AM – 2:30 PM
- Tuesday: 9:30 AM – 1:00 PM
- Wednesday: 10:30 AM – 2:30 PM
- Friday: 10:30 AM – 2:30 PM
Approximately 15 hours per week, with the potential for additional shifts
Duties Include
- Community access and social participation
- Assistance with daily living activities
- Transport to appointments and outings
- Meal preparation and light domestic assistance
- Encouraging independence and achieving NDIS goals
- Completing accurate progress notes and documentation
- Building a positive and professional relationship with the participant
Essential Requirements
- NDIS Worker Screening Check
- Current First Aid & CPR Certificate
- Current Victorian Driver's Licence
- Reliable, fully insured vehicle
- Working with Children Check (or willingness to obtain if required)
- Excellent communication skills
- Reliable, compassionate, and person-centred approach
Desirable
- Experience supporting participants with Traumatic Brain Injury, neurological conditions, or complex support needs.
- Certificate III or IV in Individual Support, Disability, Aged Care, or a related qualification.
- Male Support Worker Preferred
