This is an exciting opportunity to lead a dedicated team responsible for the cleaning, turnaround, and preparation of poultry sheds across our operations. Working in a fast-paced environment, you will play a key role in ensuring our facilities meet the highest standards of hygiene, biosecurity, animal welfare, and operational readiness.
About the Role
As the Cleaning Crew Supervisor, you will be responsible for planning, coordinating and overseeing the daily operations of cleaning teams across multiple poultry sites. This role involves occasional weekend work and overtime to support operational requirements
You will lead and support Leading Hands and team members, ensuring cleaning operations are completed safely, efficiently and to the highest standards. Along with overseeing shed turnaround activities, you'll also assist with bird management tasks, equipment maintenance, and continuous improvement initiatives that contribute to the success of our Poultry Services operation.
What You'll Be Doing

Leading and supervising Cleaning Crew teams across multiple poultry sites.

Planning and coordinating shed cleanouts and turnaround activities to meet production schedules.

Ensuring all cleaning activities meet strict hygiene, biosecurity and quality standards.

Training, mentoring and supporting Leading Hands, team members and seasonal employees.

Assisting with bird placement, relocation, vaccination and depopulation activities as required.

Managing cleaning equipment, vehicles, tools and resources to ensure operational efficiency.

Monitoring team performance and promoting a positive, safe and productive workplace culture.

Conducting safety inspections, toolbox talks and ensuring compliance with workplace health and safety requirements.
Completing operational reporting, training records and cleaning documentation.
About You
To be successful, you will ideally have:

Previous leadership or supervisory experience within poultry, agriculture, farming or a similar operational environment.

Strong organisational and time management skills with the ability to coordinate multiple priorities.

Excellent leadership, communication and people management skills.

Experience operating high-pressure cleaning equipment.

Sound mechanical aptitude and problem-solving ability.

Knowledge of biosecurity protocols, animal welfare standards and workplace health and safety practices.

A willingness to work in a physically demanding environment across multiple poultry sites.

A current driver's licence.
