Teachers Assistant – Full Time or Part Time

About the role
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Teachers Assistant to join our school team in a full-time or part time, ongoing position. Must be available across all five days, Monday to Friday for either full time or part time.
Working under the guidance of the classroom Teacher, you will:
- Support the development, implementation and monitoring of individualised education and behaviour plans
- Assist with the delivery of learning programs in a specialist autism setting
- Contribute to the overall health, wellbeing and safety of students
- Work collaboratively with teachers and the broader care team
You will play an important role in creating a positive, supportive, and engaging learning environment for students.
About you
To be successful in this role, you will:
- Have completed or be working towards a Certificate III in Education Support or Early Childhood
- Have experience working with children or young people with Autism
- Demonstrate empathy, patience and a strong understanding of individual support needs
- Be a reliable team player with the ability to adapt in a dynamic environment
- Be committed to supporting students to achieve meaningful outcomes
