Pastry Chef / Cook
We are a small artisan bakery in Melbourne CBD looking for a passionate Pastry Chef / Cook to join our friendly team. This is a great opportunity to learn and grow across bread, pastry, cakes, and daily production in a supportive kitchen environment.
Whether you already have bakery experience or have recently completed a pastry qualification, we’d love to hear from you.
We’re looking for someone who:
- Loves baking and enjoys working in a team
- Is reliable, punctual, and willing to learn
- Takes pride in their work and has strong attention to detail
- Can work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
Your responsibilities will include:
- Producing breads, croissants, cakes, and other baked goods
- Assisting with daily production requirements
- Maintaining consistent product quality
- Following food safety and hygiene standards
Requirements:
- 1 year experience preferred in a bakery or pastry kitchen (or relevant qualification)
- Availability for a minimum of 24 hours per week (3 days per week)
- Reliable, punctual, and detail-oriented
