Implementation Coordinator – Restoring Families (New Position)
Full-time position, 38 hours a week – Fixed Term to 30 June 2027
About the Role
The role will work closely with practitioners to embed implementation science principles and build capability in core implementation competencies. The coordinator will champion an evidence-informed approach across the organisation, ensuring practices are applied consistently and effectively.
A key responsibility of the role is to establish and lead a Local Implementation Team that meets regularly to drive organisation-wide implementation activities, strengthen participation, and support continuous improvement.
The coordinator will also promote and support practitioner development by encouraging engagement in learning and development activities, including completion of eLearning modules, attendance at facilitated training sessions, and participation in both internal and external coaching aligned with the practice models and cultural elements.
About You
To excel in this position, you should possess the following qualifications and qualities:
Qualifications and Registrations:
- Diploma in Community services or similar or one of the following;
- Skills and experience in a similar role
- Lived experience, community knowledge and cultural authority are recognised and valued alongside formal qualifications in line with Aboriginal community-controlled practice.
Knowledge and skills:
- Ability to collaborate to build understanding and capability in implementation science. Drive and champion implementation activities, whilst maintaining focus on quality implementation. Understand and or have willingness to learn, what is needed locally for implementation to proceed well and providing or sourcing the required support.
- Engage stakeholders and develop relationships, engage all levels of the organisation to support the implementation process including, engaging leadership to champion the approach.
- Build and facilitate the Local Implementation Teams (LITs)establish and facilitate the LIT to support Rumbalara through the implementation process.
- Continuous Quality Improvement – Understand data collection methods, analysis and presentation to support the use of continuous improvement data. Establish continuous quality improvement processes and facilitate data led decision making and drive data collection at the organisational level.
