About the role
The Chief Risk and Compliance Officer (CRCO) is the senior management position responsible for leading all functions within the Risk and Compliance Department. The CRCO ensures the organisation operates in alignment with regulatory, legislative, and accreditation obligations while embedding a robust, culturally responsive, and proactive risk culture across all divisions. The role holds overall accountability for incident and feedback management, risk management, accreditation performance, legislative compliance oversight, internal auditing, and facilitation of external audits
About you
As an experienced professional, you will have demonstrated experience in leading a sophisticated risk, safety and compliance function in a complex and diverse healthcare setting.
In addition to the above, you will demonstrate the following:

Extensive experience (5+ years) working in risk management, internal audit, quality assurance, accreditation/certification and compliance

Thorough and in-depth knowledge of risk management principles, quality systems, compliance and audit, including relevant Australian and International standards.

Proven ability to interpret and understand legislative requirements, accreditation standards and regulatory obligations.

Demonstrated experience managing multi-disciplinary teams

Highly developed communication, interpersonal and team development skills

NT Drivers Licence or ability to obtain one.
