Market Stall Assistant
Health Bazaar is looking for a reliable, friendly, and hard-working team member to join our market stall team on weekends. We operate at both the Redcliffe and Caboolture Markets and are looking for someone who enjoys working with people and takes pride in providing excellent customer service.
We are seeking team members who are available to work at both our Redcliffe and Caboolture market locations as required.
While we welcome applications from candidates who can regularly work at one location, preference will be given to applicants who are flexible and able to cover shifts at both markets when needed.
About the Role
You will assist with the day-to-day operation of our market stalls, including:
- Setting up and packing down the stall
- Serving and assisting customers
- Handling EFTPOS and cash transactions
- Assisting with loading, unloading, and transporting stock and equipment
- Other general market stall duties as required
About You
We are looking for someone who:
- Is reliable, punctual, and committed to attending scheduled shifts
- Has a positive attitude and strong work ethic
- Enjoys working with customers and providing great service
- Can work independently and as part of a team
- Is comfortable with physical work, including lifting stock and setting up equipment
- Is available for regular weekend shifts
- Has reliable transport to and from work
- Learns quickly and takes initiative
Previous retail, hospitality, customer service, or market experience is desirable but not essential, as full training will be provided.
About Us
Health Bazaar is a family-owned business specialising in premium honey, olives, cheeses, teas, spices, and other gourmet food products. We operate at markets across South East Queensland and are expanding with a new retail store in Deception Bay.
This position is well suited to a junior employee looking for consistent weekend work and valuable customer service experience.
