Ramada Hotel & Suites by Wyndham Cabramatta is seeking a friendly, professional, and motivated Guest Services Agent to join our Front Office team. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a fast-paced hotel environment where no two days are the same.
As the face of our hotel, you will play a key role in ensuring every guest receives outstanding service from arrival to departure. In addition to front desk duties, you will also assist in our bar, restaurant, and gaming areas when required.
About the Role
As a guest services agent, you will be responsible for the following:
- Welcoming guests with a warm, professional, and friendly attitude.
- Managing guest check-ins and check-outs efficiently.
- Providing exceptional customer service throughout each guest's stay.
- Handling reservations, enquiries, payments, and guest requests.
- Maximising room occupancy and revenue opportunities.
- Maintaining accurate guest records using the hotel's property management system.
- Assisting with group bookings and meeting reservations.
- Supporting the bar, restaurant, and gaming departments during busy periods.
- Resolving guest concerns promptly and professionally.
- Working collaboratively with all hotel departments to ensure an outstanding guest experience.
Skills & Experience
To be successful in this role, you will ideally possess:
Essential
- Previous customer service experience.
- Current NSW RSA (Responsible Service of Alcohol).
- Current NSW RCG/ARCG (Responsible Conduct of Gambling).
- Strong computer skills with proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong organisational and multitasking abilities.
- Ability to remain calm and professional in a fast-paced environment.
- Flexible availability, including evenings, weekends, and public holidays.
- Professional presentation and grooming.
Highly Regarded
- Previous hotel reception or front office experience.
- Experience using the RoomMaster Property Management System.
- Experience with hotel reservations, group bookings, or conference bookings.
- Experience in food & beverage or gaming operations.
