An opportunity has become available, to join our growing team on a Full Time basis, for a Mechanical Engineer to be involved in exciting new projects in the rail and concrete industries. This hands on role will see you working closely with the Director, at our manufacturing yard in Yatala, Qld.
Job Responsibilities
- Your duties and responsibilities will be planning, designing and managing the mechanical operation of our manufacturing processes
- Complete mechanical services designs - Autodesk
- Assist the Estimating Team by evaluating and improving designs for cost effectiveness
Job Duties
- Provide guidance and direction to the production personnel.
- Improve and maintain safe systems of work, plant maintenance
- Ensure personnel are producing products to the company's quality standards.
- Meet set KPI's.
Knowledge and Skill Requirements
- Strong interpersonal communication skills.
- Strong supervisory and people skills.
- Fit and physically able to carry out heavy manual work at times.
- Experience in a precast concrete preferable
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Excellent organisational and time management skills.
- Excellent judgement and decision making abilities.
- Effective troubleshooting skills.
