Join Our Team at My Support Family – Support Worker (NDIS)
My Support Family is currently seeking compassionate, reliable, and dedicated Support Workers to join our growing team. We provide high-quality, person-centered support to NDIS participants, helping them live independently and achieve their goals.
About the Role
As a Support Worker, you will work closely with NDIS clients to provide tailored support based on their individual needs. This may include assistance with daily living activities, community participation, personal care, and building life skills.
This is a mobile role, and you will be required to travel to clients’ homes and community locations for your scheduled shifts.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide respectful, client-focused support in line with individual care plans
- Assist with personal care, household tasks, and daily routines
- Support clients to access the community and engage in social activities
- Encourage independence, confidence, and skill development
- Maintain accurate records and communicate effectively with the team
What We’re Looking For
- A genuine passion for helping others
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Reliability, patience, and empathy
- Previous experience in disability support (preferred but not essential)
- Relevant qualifications (e.g., Certificate III or IV in Individual Support or similar) are an advantage
Requirements
- Valid NDIS Worker Screening Check
- Working With Children Check (if applicable)
- First Aid & CPR certification
- Current driver’s licence and reliable vehicle
- Right to work in Australia
