Wayne's World is looking for an energetic, motivated and hands-on Retail Store Manager to lead our Laidley store.

About the Role
As our Retail Store Manager, you'll be responsible for the day-to-day operation of the Laidley store, leading a small team of part-time and casual team members.
You will be responsible for:
- Leading, coaching and motivating your team to deliver exceptional customer service.
- Driving sales performance and achieving store sales and profitability targets.
- Managing stock control, inventory accuracy and merchandising standards.
- Maintaining a clean, organised and inviting shopping environment.
- Managing store rosters, labour costs and productivity.
- Recruiting, training and developing team members.
- Monitoring store performance and identifying opportunities to improve sales and profitability.
- Ensuring efficient daily operations and accurate POS procedures.
- Maintaining high standards of workplace health and safety.
- Creating a positive, supportive and high-performing team culture.
About You
We're looking for someone who enjoys leading by example and takes pride in delivering exceptional results.
To be successful, you'll ideally have:
- A minimum of 2 years' experience in a retail management role.
- Experience within discount variety, general merchandise or a similar retail environment (highly regarded).
- Proven leadership skills with the ability to inspire and develop a team.
- Strong organisational and time-management skills.
- Experience with stock control and inventory management.
- Confidence using Microsoft Office and retail POS systems.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong problem-solving ability and confidence making decisions.
- A proactive, self-motivated and positive attitude.
- A passion for delivering outstanding customer experiences.
