Banyule City Council is seeking a talented Landscape Architect to help deliver exciting open space projects across our municipality. This is your opportunity to contribute to high-quality, meaningful projects that enhance how people live, connect and enjoy their surroundings.

As a Landscape Architect, you will play a key role in the planning, design and delivery of parks, reserves, playgrounds and public realm projects across Banyule.
You will:
- Design and deliver parks, playgrounds, reserves and public realm projects
- Provide expert design advice from concept through to construction
- Develop landscape designs, drawings, specifications and cost estimates
- Manage consultants, contracts and project delivery
- Collaborate with Council teams, contractors and the community to create inclusive, sustainable spaces

About you/what you’ll bring
You are a creative and technically capable professional with a passion for public space design. You will bring:
- A qualification in Landscape Architecture, Urban Design or similar
- At least 2 years’ experience in landscape or playspace design and project delivery
- Strong design, documentation and project management skills
- Experience working with stakeholders and engaging with communities
- Demonstrated experience and skill using design software such as AutoCAD and Adobe Creative Suite
- A collaborative approach and strong communication skills
Pre-employment requirements
- Current Victorian Drivers Licence
- Working With Children Check
What we offer:
- A 2 year, full time position to June 2028
- Enjoy a strong work-life balance, with a monthly RDO and generous leave entitlements
- Salary $101,202.68 to $110,025.50 per annum (dependent on experience) plus super
- 26 weeks of paid parental leave - primary carer/4 weeks of paid parental leave - partner
- Ongoing learning and development opportunities, including health and well-being initiatives
