An admin role in a growing family business
Platinum Seal is a growing family-owned business specialising in leaking shower and bathroom repairs.
We've grown quickly across the Gold Coast, Brisbane and Melbourne, and we're looking for a reliable, switched-on Office Administrator to join us full time and take ownership of the day-to-day admin that keeps the business moving.
We're looking for someone who enjoys being organised, getting things finished and making sure nothing falls through the cracks.
You don't need years of experience. We'd much rather find someone with a great attitude, strong attention to detail and confidence using technology who is willing to learn our systems.
What you'll be doing
Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:
- Preparing and sending quotes
- Creating and sending customer invoices
- Monitoring and responding to emails
- Contacting tenants to organise access for upcoming jobs
- Contacting tenants to request photos when we receive quote requests from property managers
- Preparing and printing lead lists and debtor lists
- Updating records and entering results into our systems
- Assisting with overdue accounts and debt recovery paperwork
- Uploading customer details into our review request system
- Keeping customer and job information accurate and up to date
- General office administration and data entry
You'll work with systems including Zoho, QuickBooks, Google Workspace and other straightforward online tools. Experience with these is preferable, however we'll teach you how we do things.
Who we're looking for
You might already have some administrative experience, or you might be relatively early in your career and looking for somewhere you can settle in, learn and take on more responsibility.
More important to us is that you're:
- Reliable — if you say you'll do something, it gets done
- Organised — you can keep track of lots of small tasks without losing things
- Good with technology — you're comfortable learning new software and online systems
- Detail-oriented — names, numbers, dates and customer information need to be correct
- A good communicator — you can write a professional email and speak comfortably with customers, tenants and property managers
- Proactive — when you see something that needs doing, you don't always wait to be asked
- Easy to work with — we're a small team and a good attitude matters
Previous experience in administration, reception, real estate, property management, trades, construction or another busy office environment would be advantageous.
We're looking for someone who wants to become the person we can rely on to keep the office organised.
If you're dependable, naturally organised, comfortable with technology and take pride in doing things properly, we'd love to hear from you.
Apply with your resume and a short introduction telling us a little about yourself and why you think you'd be a good fit for a small, growing family business.
Pay: $55,000.00 – $60,000.00 per year
