We are looking for a Scheduler to join our Project Controls function in Perth, supporting project teams across our Western Australian operations.

The Opportunity
This is an excellent opportunity for a Scheduler with strong Primavera P6 capability who is looking to build their experience and develop a career in project planning and project controls.
Working closely with Project Managers, Planners, Engineers and site teams, you will be responsible for maintaining accurate project schedules, collecting and validating progress information, preparing lookahead schedules and producing regular schedule and progress reporting.
You will play an important role in ensuring our project teams have accurate and timely information to understand progress, plan upcoming activities and support successful project delivery.

Key Responsibilities
- Maintain and update project schedules using Primavera P6.
- Collect, validate and incorporate progress information from project teams into project schedules.
- Maintain schedule logic, activity relationships, milestones and project status information.
- Prepare short-term and lookahead schedules to support project execution.
- Monitor progress against established project schedules and identify schedule changes, delays and emerging issues.
- Prepare regular schedule status updates, progress reports and supporting project controls information.
- Work closely with Supervisors, Engineers, Planners and Project Managers to ensure schedule information accurately reflects site progress.
- Support the Planner and project teams with forecasting and schedule analysis.
- Assist with resource loading, productivity tracking and progress measurement where required.
- Participate in project meetings and communicate schedule updates and upcoming activities to relevant stakeholders.
- Support the ongoing improvement of scheduling, reporting and project controls processes.
Skills and Experiences:
Qualifications and Experience
- Previous experience in a Scheduler, Planning Engineer or similar project-based role.
- Working knowledge of Primavera P6, including schedule updates, logic relationships and reporting.
- Experience producing lookahead schedules, progress reports and schedule status updates.
- Strong Microsoft Excel skills and confidence working with project data.
- High level of accuracy, attention to detail and data discipline.
- Strong organisational and time-management skills.
- Ability to work effectively with Supervisors, Engineers and project teams to gather and validate progress information.
- Good communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
- A genuine interest in developing broader planning and project controls capability.
Experience within construction, civil, mining, oil & gas, shutdown, demolition, decommissioning or other industrial project environments will be highly regarded.
Exposure to resource loading, productivity reporting, Power BI or other visual reporting tools will also be advantageous.
