About the role:
If you're looking for variety, this role delivers. As a qualified Sonographer with General Radiography and CT skills, you'll work across inpatient, outpatient and emergency settings, performing a broad range of examinations while delivering high-quality, patient-centred care.
Working alongside a supportive multidisciplinary team, you'll contribute to service improvement, education and quality initiatives, with opportunities to expand your expertise across all imaging modalities. Belmont Hospital is a welcoming and well-regarded community hospital, where you'll join a supportive Medical Imaging team delivering high-quality Ultrasound, General Radiography and CT services to the Emergency Department, inpatient wards, outpatient clinics and the wider community.
This is more than a typical radiographer role. You'll gain experience across multiple imaging modalities while also accessing opportunities to work alongside specialist teams at John Hunter Hospital and the Mater Hospital. With a varied caseload, strong clinical support and exposure to tertiary-level practice, you'll have the chance to broaden your expertise, grow your confidence and take the next step in your career.
About you
We’re looking for a passionate and skilled Sonographer who takes pride in delivering exceptional patient care and enjoys working as part of a supportive team.
You’ll bring:
Accredited Sonographer qualifications and relevant registration.
General Radiography experience, with CT experience or a willingness to develop CT skills.
Strong communication skills and a commitment to patient-centred care, safety and quality.
A collaborative approach and enthusiasm for ongoing learning.

Requirements
Degree in Medical Radiation Science (Diagnostic Radiography) or equivalent. Eligible for registration with Australian Health Professionals Registration Authority (AHPRA), hold/ current NSW EPA Radiation licence and ASAR accreditation
Post graduate qualification in Medical Sonography and registration with the Australian Sonographers Accreditation Registry (ASAR)
Participate in the Rosters, overtime and on-call duties as required by the site, and which may change from time to time
