The role
In Government Sector Labour Relations (GSLR), our Principal Advisers represent the Minister for Industrial Relations and the Executive Director GSLR in developing, implementing and monitoring labour relations strategies, policies and workplace practices, with particular emphasis on framework and reform, bargaining and employer support.
While every team member is engaged in these outputs, our Principal Advisers are required to demonstrate strong project leadership, working in partnership with stakeholders to apply their expertise to achieve results,
We work with public sector employers, unions and others to drive whole-of-government workforce reforms, negotiate awards and agreements, and resolve disputes.
We are looking for motivated people who want to help public sector employers meet workforce and organisational objectives. We also want to hear from people who take a collaborative, transparent, evidence-based and adaptive approach – behaviours which underpin everything we do within GSLR and across the public sector.
