The Opportunity
We’re looking for a skilled Workshop Fitter to join our Emerald workshop team.
In this role, you’ll work on a wide range of construction, earthmoving, and mining equipment—handling diagnostics, maintenance, and repairs while supporting high-quality service delivery.
What You’ll Do
- Perform diagnostics, servicing, and repairs on heavy equipment
- Maintain quality standards across workshop repairs and machine assembly
- Support and mentor apprentices
- Provide technical input, job estimates, and reports
- Identify and drive continuous improvement opportunities
- Maintain a safe, clean, and efficient work environment
About You
- Relevant trade qualification (Mobile Plant, Diesel Fitter, or similar)
- OR Light Vehicle Mechanic looking to transition into heavy machinery
- Strong mechanical aptitude and diagnostic skills
- Ability to work independently and in a team
- Commitment to safety and quality workmanship
- Previous workshop or mining/construction experience (advantageous)
