Aged Care Support Worker – Engadine | 6 Hours per Week
Ayul Community Care is seeking a reliable, compassionate and experienced Support Worker to provide ongoing assistance to a male aged-care client in Engadine, NSW.
This is a regular subcontractor position offering three fixed two-hour shifts per week. The successful applicant must be available and committed to attending all three shifts consistently.
Shift Schedule
- Monday: 1:00 pm–3:00 pm
- Wednesday: 1:00 pm–3:00 pm
- Friday: 1:00 pm–3:00 pm
Total: 6 hours per week

About the Role
You will provide respectful, person-centred support to assist the client with his daily routine, mobility and community participation.
Key Responsibilities
- Assisting with personal care, transfers, drying and dressing
- Supporting safe mobility using a four-wheel walker
- Preparing a light meal, snack or coffee
- Providing companionship and meaningful conversation
- Supporting short walks and occasional community access
- Promoting the client’s safety, dignity, comfort and independence
- Completing accurate shift notes following each service
Essential Requirements
- Relevant qualification in Individual Support, Aged Care, Disability or a related field
- Working With Children Check
- Current First Aid and CPR certificates
- Valid ABN and appropriate insurance
- Valid Australian driver’s licence
- Reliable vehicle for occasional community-access support
- Ability to attend all three weekly shifts consistently
- Reliable, patient, respectful and compassionate approach
Desirable
- Previous experience providing personal care and mobility support
- Experience supporting older people
- NDIS Worker Screening Check
Employment Arrangement
