Echo Projects Co is a commercial builder based in Windsor, Brisbane. We deliver fitouts, refurbishments and new builds across hospitality, retail, workplace, medical and education projects throughout South East Queensland.
We’re after a Business Development Manager to build our pipeline of commercial construction projects. Reporting directly to the Managing Director, you’ll identify and secure opportunities to tender across South East Queensland.
You’ll be:
- Building relationships with consultants, project managers, architects, quantity surveyors and client-side stakeholders
- Growing our network across the commercial construction industry
- Generating new project opportunities across fitouts, refurbishments and new builds
Doing proactive outreach, including cold calling and BD meetings
- Attending industry events and client meetings
- Managing a pipeline of prospective projects through to tender
- Coordinating with our estimating and delivery teams as opportunities progress
This is a part time role, two to three days a week, exact days to be finalised with the right person. It suits someone who wants a serious BD role without full time hours.
- 2–5 years’ experience in business development, sales, account management or a client-facing role within construction
- Experience with a subcontractor, supplier, consultant or construction-related business
- Comfortable making cold calls and approaching new businesses
- A track record of generating leads or new business
- Confidence, energy and follow-through
