About the Role
As an Electrical Engineer, you will support the design, development, and delivery of electrical systems for infrastructure, industrial, energy, and commercial projects. Working within a multidisciplinary team, you will contribute to safe, sustainable, and compliant engineering solutions from concept design through to commissioning.
Key Responsibilities
Design electrical power distribution, lighting, protection, and control systems.
Prepare electrical drawings, schematics, calculations, and technical specifications.
Ensure designs comply with Australian standards and regulatory requirements.
Assist with project planning, budgeting, scheduling, and delivery.
Support installation, testing, commissioning, and troubleshooting activities.
Conduct technical analysis, load calculations, and system performance assessments.
Prepare engineering reports, risk assessments, and project documentation.
Collaborate with clients, contractors, suppliers, and project teams.
Promote health, safety, and quality standards across all project activities.
Skills & Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering.
Knowledge of Australian electrical standards and regulations.
Experience with electrical design software and CAD systems.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and technical skills.
Ability to interpret engineering drawings and specifications.
Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
Eligibility for or membership with Engineers Australia is advantageous.
