Roofing Team Leader / Leading Hand
Brown Wilson Roofing is a Sydney based roofing company specialising in roof repairs, leak detection, roof replacements, residential repairs, skylights and general roofing maintenance.
We are currently seeking an experienced Roofer to come on as a team leader and take ownership of daily operations throughout residential repairs.
Our work is primarily carried out throughout Sydney’s Eastern Suburbs, Inner City and Inner West regions, servicing real estate agencies, strata managers, property managers and residential clients.
This role is ideal for someone who has strong roofing experience, takes pride in their work, communicates well with both clients and staff, and is looking to grow into a long term leadership position.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and supervise roofing crews on site. Ensure all works are completed to a high standard and in accordance with company expectations. Manage daily job progress and ensure projects are completed efficiently. Maintain strong communication with management, clients and team members. Identify and solve problems on site as they arise. Ensure workplace safety procedures are followed at all times. Train and mentor junior team members. Take responsibility for job quality, productivity and overall site performance.
What We’re Looking For:
- Previous roofing experience is essential. Experience leading or supervising a team is highly regarded. Strong communication and leadership skills. Hardworking, motivated and reliable. Ability to work independently and make decisions on the job. High attention to detail and pride in workmanship. Current driver’s licence. White Card.
