About the role
The Business Support Officer plays a key role in supporting Wilmar’s Grower Marketing Team by delivering high-level administrative, operational and marketing support. This position helps coordinate grower marketing programs, communications, reporting and project activities, while providing exceptional service to growers and internal stakeholders. Working collaboratively across the business, the role contributes to improved operational efficiency, stronger grower engagement and the ongoing success of Wilmar’s grower marketing initiatives.
Role Responsibilities:
As the Business Support Officer, you will provide high-level administrative, operational and marketing support to the Grower Marketing Team. You will coordinate grower communications, marketing campaigns, events and engagement activities, while supporting pricing administration, reporting, business improvements and project delivery. The role also involves analysing business and grower data, maintaining processes and documentation, and building strong relationships with growers and stakeholders to enhance customer service, drive operational efficiency and support the ongoing success of Wilmar.
About You
With qualifications in Business, Marketing, Communications, Agriculture, Finance, or a related discipline (or equivalent experience), you bring strong experience in business support, administration, project coordination, and the delivery of marketing and stakeholder engagement activities. You possess excellent communication, organisational and customer service skills, with the ability to analyse data, prepare reports, manage competing priorities and drive process improvements. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM platforms is essential, while experience with SAP, Salesforce, project management software, and exposure to the agricultural, commodity, financial services or Australian sugar industries would be highly regarded. Knowledge of grower marketing, commodity pricing and event coordination is also desirable.
