The Opportunity
As Finance Manager, you will play a key role in partnering with the business to drive financial performance and support strategic decision-making. You will provide insightful analysis, lead planning and forecasting processes, and influence commercial outcomes across the organisation. Working closely with cross-functional teams, you will identify opportunities to improve profitability, ensure strong financial governance, and contribute to the delivery of business growth objectives.
What you will be doing
- Partner with the business to provide financial insight and decision support aligned to strategy.
- Contribute to business performance through analysis, reporting, and delivery of actionable insights (sales, margin, and pricing)
- Identify performance gaps and drive improvement initiatives, including tracking benefits and outcomes.
- Collaborate cross-functionally to support commercial decision-making and optimise business results.
- Support pricing strategy, forecasting (IBP), and ensure accuracy in budgets and financial forecasts.
- Maintain strong financial governance, risk management, and a "no surprises" performance environment.
- Oversee capital expenditure, working capital, and continuous improvement of systems and processes.
- Manage key stakeholder relationships across sales, operations, finance, and shared services teams.
- Operate within a financial scope of ~$124M revenue and ~$23M EBITDA.
What you will bring
- CA or CPA qualified with 5+ years' leadership experience.
- Strong business partnering skills with the ability to influence and engage stakeholders.
- Highly analytical with the ability to turn data into actionable insights.
- Advanced Excel skills, with SAP or similar systems experience preferred.
- Experience in manufacturing, building, or construction industries (advantageous)
- Collaborative, solutions-focused, and commercially minded.
- Strong communicator who can manage risk and think strategically.
