As a Payroll and Accounts Officer at BUSHkids, you will play a key role within the finance team, supporting the organisation’s financial operations through the accurate and timely processing of fortnightly payroll, accounts payable and receivable, staff expense claims, credit card reconciliations, and payment runs. The role also ensures compliance with relevant legislation, awards, policies, and procedures while contributing to the smooth delivery of finance administration and shared services support across the organisation.

About You
- Previous experience in payroll processing is essential, with additional experience across AR/AP functions highly desirable.
- Flexible and adaptable nature who can work independently and have a team-oriented mindset.
- Able to manage competing priorities effectively with a deadline driven approach.
- High attention to detail, accuracy and sound judgement in decision making.
- Intermediate Excel skills and MS-Office. Prior Employment Hero experience would be highly desirable.
- Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills.
- Highly professional approach, with the ability to handle sensitive information confidentially.
- Proactive team player with a focus on collaboration and continuous improvement

- Valid Blue Card and NDIS Worker Screening Clearance (or ability to obtain before commencement)
- Current C Class Drivers’ Licence
- Evidence of Hepatitis B vaccination status
