About the Role
We are seeking an enthusiastic and reliable Piano Teacher to join our team. The successful candidate will teach beginner to intermediate students, primarily primary school-aged children, in both group and private lesson settings.
Key Responsibilities
- Teach piano lessons to children in group and private classes.
- Plan and deliver engaging, age-appropriate lessons.
- Develop students’ skills in piano performance, music reading, rhythm, technique, and musicianship.
- Monitor student progress and provide feedback to parents when required.
- Prepare students for recitals, performances, and examinations where appropriate.
- Maintain a positive, encouraging, and professional learning environment.
- Arrive punctually and maintain accurate attendance records.
Essential Requirements
- Strong piano playing ability.
- Passion for teaching children.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Reliable, organised, and professional.
- Current Working With Children Check (WWCC).
- Availability after school hours and/or weekends.
Desirable
- Previous piano teaching experience.
- Formal music qualifications or currently studying music.

Pay: $55.00 – $80.00 per hour
