Our Operations Team Leader is responsible for management and co-ordination of South Australian Loans team personnel their workflow and day to day activities to achieve KPI’s. The role will involve; co-ordination of LifeHealthcare kits and liaison with kit scheduling nationally to manage any shortfalls which may be identified in that period. Maintaining national standards across the local team, performance measurement, improvement and communication with stakeholders on delivery.
Key Responsibilities:
- Co-ordinate movement of loan kits for each booking with the loan kit staff
- Ensure kits are complete and functional before dispatching to a hospital
- Manage urgent requests or turn arounds
- Co-ordinate after hours work and weekend on-call rostering
- Liaise with couriers, hospital staff and LifeHealthcare staff to ensure kits are delivered according to SLA’s or customer specific requirements
- Work with national loan kit staff to ensure kit accuracy and traceability
- Work with national loan kit staff to ensure instrument repair and replace policy is being followed and executed as needed
- Communicate loan kit supply issues to LHC sales staff and hospital loans staff in advance of surgery, ensuring adequate time to co-ordinate alternative sources of loan kits and stock
- Work with national loan kit staff to ensure that all system transactions are completed in SAP system for each kit receipted, inspected, and dispatched
- Ensure all team members are adequately inducted and trained
- Lead, motivate and provide coaching/training to the Team. Develop team members and provide support to encourage high performance outcomes
We believe your application will be successful if you can demonstrate:
- Previous experience in loan kit environment
- Management experience leading a small team (essential)
- Experience in medical device industry within similar role (at least 2 years)
- Strong attention to detail
- Sound understanding of inventory systems
- Knowledge of loan set processes
- Strong people management experience
- Team player, professional and personable, strong communication skills
- Calm under pressure, hands on leader, continuous, improvement mindset
- Car License required, some out of hour’s work required and some domestic travel required
