Architectural Draftsperson & Compliance Technician
For the role at Archistar, the main responsibilities include:
Reviewing architectural drawings, floor plans, and design documents.
Using Archistar's eCheck software to assess compliance with zoning rules, planning controls, and building regulations.
Identifying compliance issues and recommending design changes.
Working with architects, designers, and planning teams to resolve regulatory problems.
Preparing compliance reports and documentation.
Managing multiple projects while meeting deadlines.
Skills and qualifications
Preferred qualifications include:
Diploma or Degree in Architecture, Architectural Drafting, Building Design, or a related field.
Knowledge of Australian planning regulations, zoning controls, NCC/BCA requirements, and building codes.
Experience with:
AutoCAD
Revit
Rhino3D (preferred)
Strong attention to detail and communication skills.
Ability to work with digital compliance and automation tools.
Pay: From $7,900.00 per month
