Plummers Industries Pty Ltd is looking for qualified and experienced Electrical Engineering Technicians. Plummers Industries is a manufacturer of Electrical Switchboards, Switchrooms and Electrical Equipment. This is a full-time position, switchboard wiring experience is essential for this role.
Responsibilities
· Motor Control, PLC, Control Panel wiring, testing and inspection.
· Layout of electrical panels, installation of circuitry on substations, switchgear, cabling systems and motor control centres and MV switchgear.
· Estimating materials costs and quantities
· Inspecting of designs and finished products for compliance with AS standards and specifications
· Installing assemblies for protection relays, metering and indicating devices
Key Requirements
· Diploma in Electrical Engineering or equivalent qualification
· Reading and interpreting schematics and technical drawings
· Skilled in trouble shooting and resolving issues to assist engineering team
· A minimum of 2 - 3 years’ experience
· Good standard of English language skills and team-work.
This is a fast work paced environment. You must be able to work independently with little supervision. Switchboard wiring experience is a must have for this role.
Pay: From $76,000.00 per year
