Our model is designed to do more than teach instrumental skills. Through weekly band lessons, we help students build confidence, resilience, teamwork, and wellbeing. We keep growing because we believe deeply in the life-changing power of music. And we're growing fast.
As a Music School Sales Representative (we call them ‘Sales Champions’), you'll be responsible for finding and building strong relationships with primary schools across Sydney, introducing them to our in-school contemporary band program. This is a phone-based, B2B sales role focused on lead generation, relationship building, and growing our school network. You'll work closely with the office team and communicate regularly with the wider sales team to coordinate campaigns and school outreach.
- Having great conversations with school decision-makers and confidently sharing the benefits of our music lessons
- Generating new leads and building brand-new relationships with schools from the ground up
- Running and being accountable for your own sales campaigns
- Working as part of our 'School Champions' team within a collaborative, supportive sales environment
- Work closely with the teams in the office and communicate regularly with the out of office sales team including helping schedule their time
- Confidence and enthusiasm for phone-based outreach and building new relationships
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- A high level of empathy and genuine listening skills
- A positive, team-first attitude with energy and integrity
- Passion for music and a belief in its power to change lives
- Highly organised with a target-driven mindset
- Full-time permanent position, 38 hours per week, Monday to Friday daytime hours
- 28 days of annual leave + public holidays
- Annual salary + commission
- Personal development opportunities and ongoing coaching
- Enhanced maternity and paternity leave
- Celebratory staff away-days, regular social events and Christmas celebrations
- Be part of something bigger: helping bring music education to children across Australia
- Opportunities to work with Rocksteady Foundation, reaching children and young people in charities and support groups.
We appreciate that previous experience doesn't always tell the full story. If this role sounds like you, don't rule yourself out. Apply now. We'd love to get to know you.
