About The Gidley:

About The Role:
You will bring sharp attention to detail and confident communication, ensuring every guest experience feels seamless, intuitive, and personal..
Working closely with the small wine team, you'll share passion and knowledge, inspire excellence, and engage both staff and guests with your expertise. Your drive for teamwork gives you the versatility to support the floor as needed, at times you may be called upon to manage our private dining rooms without the assistance of the waitstaff, requiring you to understand all aspects of our sequence of service.
Your Day to Day:
Ensure wine out of stock lists are up to date with stock availability and vintages
Wine cellar Mis en Place complete & clean and service ready
Maintains wine stock and par levels
Ensures efficient, professional guest experience
Communicate efficiently between all departments within the venue.
Ensures wastage is kept to a minimum
Assists in providing constant management of the venue's budget and cost of goods sold (COGS).
Carries out additional duties required to fulfil the position and as requested, this includes hosting and assisting waitstaff with service.
About You:
Proven experience in a within a premium or hatted venue
A confident and calm demeanour
CMS or W-Set Level 2 or above certified
A genuine passion for hospitality and being of service
Show your teamwork by waiting table when needed
Strong organisational and communication skills
Availability to work a flexible roster, including weekends and evenings
