The Opportunity
Brisbane Private Hospital is seeking a Permanent Full time and Permanent Part time Medical Records Administration Officer. Working within the Health Information Services Department the role will report to the Manager of Health Information Services and will be responsible for providing medical records support. Key functions will include:
Retrieve, track and archive medical records
Filing of patient correspondence into medical records
Any other duties which may be included in the management of medical records and requested by the Manager of Health Information Services
Support management with Release of Information/ and or Medicolegal requests

About You
You will enjoy working in a fast-paced team environment, have excellent attention to detail and good communication skills. You will be organised, enjoy working with a level of autonomy, able to follow instructions and carry out required tasks efficiently. To be successful in your application, you will:

Have demonstrable experience in medical records administration
Have excellent computer literacy and experience in using WebPAS or other specialised computer-based systems
Be able to appropriately manage competing priorities and multitask
Previous hospital administration experience is preferred but not required
