Beltrame Civil is a third-generation civil construction contractor that has built a proud reputation for delivering quality civil projects within South Australia for 70 years.
Our primary focus is in public infrastructure including road, utilities and urban renewal projects; however, our clients value our ability to deliver an extraordinarily diverse range of projects including bridges and structures, aircraft pavements, streetscapes, wetlands and sporting ovals.
We are seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager to join our growing team and support the successful delivery of major civil infrastructure projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist the Construction Manager in the delivery of civil construction projects from commencement through to completion.
- Manage and mentor Project Managers, Project Engineers, Site Engineers and Supervisors.
- Develop and implement project management, quality and safety plans.
- Coordinate project procurement activities, including supplier and subcontractor management.
- Monitor project performance, schedules, budgets and cash flow.
- Manage RFIs, variations, extension of time claims and contractual matters.
- Oversee project quality assurance and compliance requirements.
- Conduct risk assessments, audits, toolbox meetings and environmental management activities.
- Liaise with clients, consultants, suppliers and subcontractors to ensure Beltrame Civil’s project responsibilities are achieved.
- Participate in project design, planning, testing, commissioning and completion activities.
Skills and Experience:
- Demonstrated experience in a Project Manager or Senior Project Manager or similar role within the civil construction industry.
- Proven track record of successfully delivering complex construction projects on time and within budget ($5M to $25M CV)
- Strong commercial and contractual management skills.
- Proven ability to support and mentor project teams.
- Excellent communication, negotiation and stakeholder management skills.
- Strong understanding of civil construction methodologies, safety requirements and quality systems.
- High level proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Project, Word and Excel.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver outcomes within strict deadlines.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor of Civil Engineering or equivalent qualification, or at least 5 years of highly relevant experience in lieu of a formal qualification.
- At least 12 months highly relevant work experience in a similar role
- Current driver's licence.
- Diploma of Project Management (desirable).
