Osiris Funerals is seeking an organised and dependable Storeperson to manage inventory, equipment, and supplies essential to the daily operation of our funeral services. This role ensures that all materials, vehicles, and equipment are available, maintained, and ready to support funeral arrangements and community services
Key Responsibilities
- Receive, check, and store incoming deliveries and supplies.
- Maintain inventory of coffins, urns, funeral supplies, stationery, cleaning products, and equipment.
- Monitor stock levels and notify management when reordering is required.
- Prepare and distribute supplies for funeral services and operational needs.
- Maintain storage areas in a clean, organised, and safe condition.
- Assist with loading, unloading, and transporting equipment and supplies.
- Conduct regular stocktakes and maintain accurate inventory records.
- Coordinate with suppliers and contractors regarding deliveries and orders.
- Assist with vehicle and equipment checks as required.
- Follow workplace health and safety procedures at all times.
Essential Skills and Experience
- Previous experience in warehousing, stores, inventory control, logistics, or a similar role.
- Good organisational and record-keeping skills.
- Ability to safely handle and move stock and equipment.
- Basic computer skills for inventory management and reporting.
- Current driver's licence.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
The employer will offer:
· A full-time contract for at least 3 years, extendable for further term.
· An annual salary of $73,000 - $78,000 (negotiable) + superannuation will be offered to the successful candidates with relevant qualification and experience.
