Lead, Inspire, and Make a Difference in Early Childhood Education
Roots Childcare & Kindergarten Loganlea is seeking an experienced, passionate, and motivated Centre Manager to lead our dedicated team and continue delivering high-quality education and care to children and families in our community.

About the Role
As Centre Manager, you will be responsible for the overall day-to-day management of the service, ensuring compliance, operational efficiency, team leadership, and high-quality educational outcomes for children.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and support a team of educators to deliver high-quality education and care.
- Ensure compliance with the Education and Care Services National Law, National Regulations, and National Quality Standard.
- Oversee staffing, rosters, recruitment, and performance management.
- Support the implementation of educational programs and continuous quality improvement.
- Maintain strong relationships with families and the local community.
- Manage occupancy, enrolments, and family engagement.
- Ensure accurate record keeping and administrative compliance.
- Lead Quality Improvement Plan (QIP) development and Assessment and Rating preparation.
- Work collaboratively with the Approved Provider and leadership team to achieve service goals.
Essential Requirements
- Diploma or Bachelor qualification in Early Childhood Education and Care.
- Minimum 2 years' leadership or management experience in an early childhood setting.
- Strong knowledge of the National Quality Framework and Child Safe Standards.
- Current Blue Card (or ability to obtain).
- Current First Aid, CPR, Asthma and Anaphylaxis qualifications.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and organisational skills.
- Ability to build and maintain positive relationships with children, families, and staff.
Desirable
- Previous experience as a Centre Manager, Assistant Director, or Nominated Supervisor.
- Experience with CCS, childcare management software, and occupancy management.
- Experience preparing for Assessment and Rating visits.
- Strong understanding of budgeting and operational management.
