About the Role
As an Educator, you will play an important role in creating a safe, nurturing, and engaging environment where children can learn, grow, and thrive. A regular day in this role will involve:
- Creating a safe, inclusive, and supportive environment that encourages self-confidence and self-esteem
- Supporting children's learning, development, and wellbeing through play-based experiences
- Observing and documenting children's learning and developmental progress
- Supporting children's health, hygiene, and daily routines, including nappy changing where required
- Building strong relationships with children, families, and colleagues
- Working across different rooms when required to support the needs of the service
- Following Insight Early Learning's philosophy, policies, and procedures
- Educating and caring for children as part of a team in a national company that recognises and rewards great team members
About You
We’re looking for someone who is confident, nurturing, and brings positive energy to the team.
- A Cert III or Diploma in Early Childhood Education (must have)
- Current and valid Working with Children Check (must have)
- Previous experience working as an Educator or in a similar role (must have)
- Current Child Protection, Mandatory Reporting, and Foundations training (or willing to complete prior to commencement)
- Strong understanding of the National Quality Framework (NQF)
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- A warm, engaging, and proactive approach to supporting children, families, and colleagues
- Experience using Xplor or a similar childcare management system (nice to have)
