Introduction:
We are seeking a reliable and motivated Junior Storeperson to join our busy manufacturing and operations team in Export Park, Adelaide. This is a great opportunity for someone looking to develop their skills and build a career in warehousing, stores and inventory management.
Working as part of a supportive team, you will assist with the receipt, storage and dispatch of goods, support production with parts and materials, and help maintain accurate inventory records. You will also have the opportunity to learn about mechanical spare parts and our Vertical Lift Machine (VLM), which is being introduced to enhance our spare parts storage and fulfilment capabilities.

This role is ideal for someone who is organised, eager to learn and takes pride in doing a job well. You will need to be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment, follow instructions, and work both independently and as part of a team.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone early in their warehousing career to gain hands-on experience and develop their skills in a growing manufacturing and service environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Receive, check and store incoming goods
- Pick, pack and prepare goods for dispatch
- Assist with freight and courier movements
- Support production by supplying parts and materials as required
- Maintain accurate stock records and ensure items are correctly labelled and stored
- Assist with stocktakes and cycle counts
- Keep warehouse and storage areas clean, organised and safe
- Assist with returns, warranty items and non-conforming goods
- Learn to use inventory systems and the Vertical Lift Machine (VLM)
- Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors
- Follow all safety procedures, including PPE and manual handling requirements
- Undertake other general store and warehouse duties as required
Successful candidates will have:
- A genuine interest in developing a career in warehousing, stores or logistics
- Previous warehouse or storeperson experience is desirable but not essential
- Forklift licence or willingness to obtain one (highly regarded)
- An interest in mechanical spare parts and inventory management
- Basic computer skills and willingness to learn inventory systems
- Good attention to detail and accuracy
- Strong organisational and time management skills
- Ability to follow instructions and learn new processes
- Ability to work both autonomously and as part of a team
- Commitment to workplace safety
- Positive attitude, reliability and strong work ethic
- Good physical fitness and ability to undertake manual handling duties
