Fine Foams is Australia's dedicated muslin bedding brand. Founded in Canberra, we design oversized, temperature-regulating muslin blankets and bedding for Australians who want natural, breathable comfort — and we've grown to serve over 16,000 happy customers along the way.
We operate across wholesale and retail as an online-first DTC business, and we're scaling quickly. As we grow, we're looking for a motivated, detail-oriented Accountant to support our financial operations and help keep our foundations strong.
Key Responsibilities
1. Website & E-commerce Development
- Design, develop, maintain and regularly update the company's website and e-commerce platform to ensure optimal functionality, performance and user experience.
- Configure, install, test and maintain website software, plugins, themes and e-commerce applications to support business operations and online sales activities.
- Monitor website performance, page speed, functionality and user engagement, implementing improvements to enhance customer experience and online conversion rates.
2. Content Management
- Upload, update and manage website content including product listings, pricing, images, promotional materials, customer information and inventory-related data.
3. Infrastructure, Hosting & Security
- Manage website hosting environments, domain registrations, DNS settings, SSL certificates and server configurations to maintain website security and availability.
- Perform regular website backups, security monitoring, software updates and vulnerability assessments to protect business data and maintain cybersecurity standards.
- Troubleshoot and resolve website, e-commerce platform and technical issues, ensuring minimal downtime and prompt resolution of system faults.
4. IT Systems & Network Support
- Manage and support the organisation's computer networks, internet connectivity and associated IT systems across multiple business locations to ensure reliable communication and operational efficiency.
5. Digital Marketing
- Develop, implement and manage digital marketing strategies including search engine optimisation (SEO), Google Business Profile management, email marketing, online advertising and social media campaigns to increase website traffic and sales.
6. Analytics & Reporting
- Analyse website traffic, customer behaviour and online sales performance using analytics tools, preparing reports and recommendations to improve digital marketing outcomes and business profitability.
About you
The successful candidate will be a proven collaborator with excellent communication skills and a solid working knowledge of web technologies and platforms. To succeed in this role, you will bring the following skills and attributes:
- Previous experience in web administration (preferred)
- A bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Web Administration, or a related field
- Strong organisational skills, with the ability to prioritise and coordinate multiple tasks, meet objectives, and deliver on time
- The ability to multitask, use initiative, and work both autonomously and collaboratively
- Experience with Adobe and/or Google Analytics
- Knowledge of web hosting technologies
- Familiarity with database management and website security practices
- Strong attention to detail
- A team player with a "can-do" attitude
