Full-Time Lawn & Yard Maintenance Operator
HMJ Carpentry Pty Ltd is looking for a reliable and motivated Lawn & Yard Maintenance Operator to join our growing team servicing approximately 20 childcare centres across Newcastle, Lake Macquarie, Port Stephens and the Central Coast on a rotating fortnightly maintenance schedule.
This is a full-time role offering consistent work, flexible independence, and long-term opportunities with a growing maintenance company working with premium childcare clients including Goodstart Early Learning centres.

About the Role
You will be responsible for maintaining lawns, gardens and outdoor areas across multiple childcare centres throughout Newcastle and the Central Coast region.
Work includes:
- Lawn mowing and edging
- Whipper snipping
- Weed control and spraying
- General yard maintenance and clean-ups
- Debris clean-up and monthly tip runs
- Travelling between sites independently
- Maintaining a high presentation standard at all centres
What We’re Looking For
- Reliable and self-motivated
- Able to work unsupervised
- Good attention to detail
- Physically fit and enjoys outdoor work
- Professional presentation and communication
- Current driver’s licence essential
- Must hold a valid WWCC or be willing to obtain one
Desirable
- Own ute or tray-back vehicle
- Experience towing trailers
- Experience with commercial lawn and garden equipment
- White Card
- Chemical spraying ticket
- Previous grounds maintenance experience
Pay: $30.00 – $40.00 per hour
