Are you a dedicated Enrolled Nurse passionate about making a real difference in aged care? Cooinda Coonabarabran Limited, a respected not-for-profit residential aged care facility in regional NSW, is seeking two enthusiastic and caring Enrolled Nurses to join our committed team.
About the Role
You will work closely with our Registered Nurses and care team to deliver high-quality, person-centred care to our residents. This is a fantastic opportunity to build a meaningful career in a supportive and community-focused environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver safe and effective nursing care under the supervision of Registered Nurses
- Support residents with daily living activities while preserving their dignity and independence
- Administer medications in accordance with your scope of practice
- Monitor and report changes in residents’ conditions
- Maintain accurate clinical documentation
- Communicate effectively with residents, families, and multidisciplinary teams
Requirements
- Diploma of Nursing (or equivalent) and current AHPRA registration as an Enrolled Nurse
- Demonstrated experience in an aged care or similar healthcare setting
- Sound clinical skills and understanding of aged care standards
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Police Clearance (or willingness to obtain)
Desirable
- Familiarity with aged care electronic documentation systems
- Certificate in Medication Administration (if not included in qualification)
- A passion for working with the elderly in a person-centred care model
