As our pharmacy continues to grow, we are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Pharmacy Technician to join our professional healthcare team.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist pharmacists with the preparation and dispensing of prescription medications
- Receive, process, and manage prescriptions accurately in accordance with pharmacy procedures
- Provide excellent customer service and assist customers with general enquiries
- Support patients with medication information under the supervision of a pharmacist
- Maintain accurate patient records and update pharmacy systems as required
- Manage stock levels including ordering, receiving, storing, and organising pharmaceutical products
- Ensure medications and pharmacy products are stored safely and appropriately
- Assist with inventory management, stock rotation, and expiry date checks
- Prepare medication packaging and support dose administration aid services where required
- Maintain cleanliness, organisation, and professional standards within the pharmacy
- Follow all pharmacy policies, procedures, health regulations, and safety requirements
- Work collaboratively with pharmacists and team members to deliver quality healthcare services
Qualifications & Experience
- Relevant qualification in pharmacy services or equivalent industry experience
- Previous experience working as a Pharmacy Technician or in a pharmacy environment (preferred)
- Strong understanding of pharmacy procedures, medication handling, and customer service standards
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy when handling prescriptions and records
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a busy healthcare environment
- Good organisational and time management skills
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a professional team
- Commitment to maintaining confidentiality, safety, and high standards of patient care
