We are currently seeking a reliable and safety-focused HR Driver (Rigid) to join our Butler team.
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced driver looking for a stable, long-term role with a reputable Australian-owned business. You will play an important role in ensuring our products are delivered safely, efficiently, and on time while providing excellent customer service to our customers.
About the Role
Based at our Butler branch, you will be responsible for delivering roofing and steel products to customers across the Perth metropolitan area and surrounding regions.
This is a hands-on role where you will be responsible for the safe operation of the vehicle, loading and unloading products, securing loads, and assisting with general yard and warehouse duties when required.
This is a full-time position with a 6:00 am start, Monday to Friday, with the possibility of overtime.
Your responsibilities will include:

Safely and efficiently delivering products to customers across the Perth metropolitan area and surrounding regions

Loading and unloading trucks using appropriate equipment and safe manual handling practices

Ensuring all loads are properly secured and transported in accordance with safety and compliance requirements

Completing vehicle checks and maintaining the vehicle to a high standard

Providing professional and friendly customer service at delivery locations

Ensuring delivery paperwork and records are completed accurately
-
Supporting warehouse and yard operations as required

Maintaining a clean, organised, and safe work environment

Following all company safety policies and procedures
About You
To be successful in this role, you will bring:

A valid HR (Heavy Rigid) Driver's Licence

Previous experience driving rigid vehicles, preferably in a delivery environment

A strong commitment to safety and compliance

Good knowledge of Perth metropolitan roads and surrounding areas

A reliable, punctual, and professional approach to work

Strong communication and customer service skills

The ability to work independently as well as part of a team

Physical fitness and the ability to undertake manual handling duties

A positive attitude and willingness to assist with general yard and warehouse duties when required
Desirable
-
Current Forklift Licence
-
Experience within steel, building products, manufacturing, construction, roofing, or related industries

Experience with delivery of long or oversized building products
-
Knowledge of load restraint requirements and safe loading practices
