VM Drilling is a privately owned RC drilling company based in Kalgoorlie, serving clients throughout Western Australia. VM Drilling was established in 2004 as a one rig company and has grown organically to a reputable mid-size company. Today the business is operating up to 10+ Rigs and possesses extensive experience within the mining industry.

Key Responsibilities Include but not limited to:
- Demonstrate a hands on approach to supervising and leading multiple teams of drilling and operational crews for exploration drilling

Demonstrated ability to multi-task, displaying strong organisation, future planning, problem solving and team leadership

Ability to train and mentor drillers and offsiders

Troubleshoot operational, logistical and mechanical issues

Liaise and coordinate with the client

“Boots on ground” position with a strong admin team providing support in the office.

Maintain accurate records and reports on daily operations

Conduct toolbox meetings, risk assessments, and incident investigations

Contribute to a strong safety culture
Position Minimum Requirements
- 12 months minimum experience Supervising drill rigs

Hands on RC Drilling experience
-
S26 required or to be obtained
-
HR-B Drivers License Minimum
-
Cert IV in Drilling Operations preferred
-
First Aid Certificate
-
Must be able to pass pre employment medical
-
National Police Clearance required
-
Full Working Rights in Australia and residential address within Western Australia.
