We are seeking applicants who, within the context of the role responsibilities, possess the following key attributes:
Demonstrated high-level knowledge and understanding of workplace health and safety legislation and risk management practices, with proven success in the development and implementation of WHS management systems and initiatives that drive improved performance in complex and dynamic working environments.
Proven ability to provide high-level professional leadership, coaching and advice to positively influence outcomes and safety culture, leading to compliance with systems and improved workplace health and safety performance.
Demonstrated capability and experience in the contemporary injury management services including workers compensation, personal injury and case management services and the effective planning and oversight of rehabilitation and return to work services for key internal stakeholders.
Demonstrated high-level written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills, with the proven ability to effectively engage, collaborate, influence and innovate with a broad range of stakeholders, including the development of high-level employer responses to WorkCover.
Proven ability to appropriately manage competing tasks and organisational priorities to ensure that services are maintained to various stakeholders and organisational outcomes are achieved.

Whilst not mandatory, possession of tertiary or postgraduate qualifications in Workplace Health and Safety and/or Health/Injury Management will be highly regarded.
The successful applicant should be willing to perform the function of the Rehabilitation and Return to Work Coordinator, including obtaining the applicable qualification once appointed, if required.
The incumbent may be required to travel on official business and the possession of a C class driver's licence may be required.
