We are seeking applicants who, within the context of the role responsibilities, possess the following key attributes:
- Expert knowledge and experience in developing and leading a portfolio management office in alignment with strategic objectives and organisational outcomes.
- Proven experience working in an ICT environment, with an understanding of the PMO requirements in this environment, monitoring performance and outcomes, whilst cultivating effective working relationships to deliver continuous improvement.
- Highly developed communication skills including the ability to build and maintain beneficial professional networks, work collegiately with stakeholders, and write professional, high-quality documents for the consumption of senior managers, external audiences, and other stakeholders.
- Demonstrated high level leadership skills and experience in providing expert advice on PMO related issues to senior management and team members.
- Previous experience in a government environment or a similar setting that has required you to work within stringent governance, policy, program and project management frameworks.

The following mandatory requirements, special conditions and/or other requirements apply to this role:
- Whilst not mandatory, a tertiary or postgraduate qualification in an ICT discipline will be highly regarded.
- Whilst not mandatory, a qualification in Management of Portfolio (MoP), would be highly regarded.
