ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY
This is a fixed-term maternity leave commencing July 2026 for an initial 12-month period, with genuine possibility of extension depending on business needs. A structured and thorough handover will be provided to set the successful candidate up for success from day one.

ABOUT THE ROLE
Reporting to the Head of Workforce & Resources, this hands-on advisory role is the first point of contact for managers and employees on all people matters. You will supervise the People & Culture Officer and Compliance Officer, and lead across four key areas:
- Employee Relations & Advisory — award interpretation, ER advice, performance management, grievances, and employment lifecycle

Work Health & Safety — Return-to-Work Coordination, SafeWork NSW notifications, and WHS committee management

HR Compliance & Systems — ensure records integrity, compliance escalations, and audit readiness

People Leadership — supervision, coaching, and development of direct reports.
CRITERIA

Diploma in Human Resources Management or related field

Minimum 3 years' experience in an HR advisory or generalist role

Sound knowledge of the SCHADS Award and Fair Work Act

Knowledge of the NDIS and Aged Care Quality and Safety Commission Act 2018

Experience using Flowlogic (or similar) software

Sound knowledge of WHS legislation and injury management processes

Return-to-Work Coordinator experience (certification desirable)

Conflict resolution skills and ability to manage sensitive matters with confidentiality

High attention to detail and advanced CRM and Microsoft Office Suite skills

Ability to operate under pressure and manage competing priorities

Experience supervising a small team (desirable)
