About the role
The Corporate Finance Manager is a key member of the Group Finance team, playing an important strategic role in supporting Estia Health’s financial sustainability, capital allocation and growth agenda.
The role is responsible for evaluating investment opportunities, supporting property development and acquisition assessments, and leading financial analysis to identify and deliver commercial solutions that generate measurable financial outcomes.
Reporting to the Head of Corporate Finance, this role will work closely with Finance, Property, Operations, Legal and external advisers to support investment decisions, capital planning and strategic projects across Estia Health.
Key accountabilities include:
- Capital management and strategy
- Business support, project evaluation and governance
- Commercial modelling and opportunity analysis
- Investment, acquisition and due diligence support
- Property development, acquisitions and divestments
- Fixed asset register oversight and tax coordination
- Financial reporting, systems development and strategic projects

What you’ll bring:
- Tertiary qualification in Accounting along with CPA, CA or similar/equivalent
- Strong experience in capital management, financial modelling, and investment case development
- Demonstrated knowledge of fixed asset accounting, tax treatment of capital expenditure, and asset lifecycle management
- Proven ability to support complex transformation, property development, or infrastructure projects at pace
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to translate complex financial information for executive audiences
- Strong stakeholder engagement with a focus on collaboration and adaptability
You will bring a hands-on leadership style, strong commercial judgement and the ability to coach, support and develop a direct report while partnering effectively with senior stakeholders across the business.
Experience in aged care, healthcare, property, infrastructure or other capital-intensive environments will be highly regarded, particularly where this has involved investment evaluation, business case development, transaction support or complex stakeholder engagement.
Confidence working with financial systems, large data sets and process improvement initiatives will also be important, as the role will contribute to ongoing finance systems development and broader strategic projects.
You’ll ideally be based in Sydney where you will manage one direct report. Our office is centrally located near public transport, and we support hybrid working.
